Retail warranties (POS sidebar → Warranties) are serial-first.
On the product
Section titled “On the product”- Set warranty days on the catalog item
- Optional seal required flag (seal application/verification is manual — MerchMind does not store seal codes at sale)
On sale
Section titled “On sale”- Serial is required for warranty-eligible lines
- Entitlement starts on the sale day
- Customer may be auto-registered/updated in CRM at complete
Looking up validity
Section titled “Looking up validity”Search by serial, receipt, or phone. There is no separate warranty certificate number in this version.
