Pharmacy runs on a solo branch profile (never mixed with retail or restaurant on the same branch).
Active flows
Section titled “Active flows”- Patients in the POS sidebar (not a separate module)
- Link / validate prescriptions where used
- Patient enforcement on sales that require it
- Batch / lot override when needed
- Controlled substances — supervisor/pharmacist PIN at the register (same pattern as retail department sales). If the pharmacist is away, an ERP sidebar queue can approve; Rx-linked sales can skip the register PIN when already validated; ERP approval satisfies checkout without re-entering PIN on the till
Deferred
Section titled “Deferred”Insurance billing and some M-Pesa pharmacy paths may not be available yet — use what your till shows.
Technicians and cashiers need permissions to open the register and complete sales — ask an admin if buttons are missing.
